The appCUE uses unified floating licenses for all platforms. Licenses are independent on a specific mobile device and are managed over a local network. Licenses can be managed by the user, Cue Visual Composer is not required. Registered licenses are stored in the AL server and can be unregistered and then transfer to another AL server. Without unregistration, it is not possible to use the same license key for another device.

**How floating licenses work**

- If a license is available, the license server allows the application to run.
- When appCUE application finishes, the license is reclaimed and is available to other users.

# How to obtain appCUE license

### **Buy new appCUE License**

1. Order licenses for a CUE partner.
2. Store your license keys in a safe place.

### **Old license transfer**

# Register license

Start AL server Admin web. The AL server has to be connected to the Internet. Gateway and DNS servers must be set correctly in IP settings.

- Go to AL server Admin web, section Licenses.
- Copy license and paste it to New licence box.
- Press Register.
- Now license is registered and can be used. The same license can’t be used in another AL server.

# Unregister license

- Start AL server Admin web. The AL server has to be connected to the Internet.
- Go to section Licenses.
- Copy license key (select and Ctrl C) and store as simple character string for future usage.
- Press button Unregister for license you want to unregister.
- Now the license is unregistered and it can be used in other AL server.
