The **touchCUE-5-knob** is a compact wired touch control panel designed for tabletop or wall-mounted installation in classrooms, training facilities, meeting rooms, and other environments requiring centralised control of AV technologies.

The panel features a **5” transmissive color active matrix TFT LCD** with LED backlight, a resolution of **1280 × 720 pixels**, and a **projected capacitive touch overlay** with edge-to-edge glass. It offers wide viewing angles (160° horizontal and vertical), brightness of **250 cd/m²**, and a contrast ratio of **800:1**.

The device includes a **light sensor** for automatic backlight dimming and a **proximity sensor** for display activation. It is equipped with two **backlit programmable buttons** (e.g. for system on/off or custom functions) and a **rotary knob with push switch**, ideal for intuitive volume control, mute toggling, or analog value adjustments.

Communication is handled via **Ethernet (10/100/1000 BaseT, RJ-45)** with support for **PoE (802.3af / Class 0)**, **proxy server**, and **802.1X authentication**. The panel supports **video preview** from IP cameras and other Ethernet-connected sources, and **web browsing** for direct control of devices with web interfaces. It functions as both a graphical interface and a control unit, eliminating the need for a separate controller in IP-based systems.

Internal memory includes **4 GB RAM** and **16 GB NAND Flash (eMMC)**. The software runs on the **XPL****2**** platform**, programmable via **Cue Visual Composer**, and manageable through the **Admin Web interface**. The physical design features a slim plastic body measuring **158 × 81 × 29 mm**, weighing 0.4 kg, and is protected to an **IP30 rating**. Installation is possible on a tabletop (directly or using Tabletop Stand 5) or on the wall using a mounting adapter compatible with standard electrical wall boxes. The panel supports both landscape and portrait orientation.
