The **controlCUE-knx-d** is an IP-based control unit designed for integration into building automation systems, providing centralised management of KNX-compliant devices. Acting as a gateway, it enables bidirectional communication between KNX networks and CUE control systems, translating KNX telegrams into CUE protocol instructions for monitoring and control.

The device supports KNX TP communication in compliance with EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543 standards and includes a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface with PoE (IEEE 802.3af) for IP connectivity, configuration, and remote management. It features one KNX port, one bi-directional RS-232/RS-485 port, and four versatile ports configurable as digital or analog inputs and outputs for sensors, switches, and control signals. An integrated IR receiver allows infrared code capture.

Powered via PoE or an external 24 V DC source, the unit consumes approximately 3 W. Internal resources include an ARM® processor, 64 MB RAM, 256 MB flash memory, and a real-time clock with battery backup. LED indicators display power, network, CPU activity, KNX status, and port states. The system runs on the XPL2 scripting platform, programmable via Cue Visual Composer, and is managed through an embedded web server for configuration and firmware updates.

The enclosure is a DIN-rail mountable plastic housing (width 4 modules) with dimensions **70 × 90 × 58 mm**, suitable for indoor installations. The unit supports **DIN-rail or wall mounting**, providing flexibility for various environments.
