The **smartCUE-relay** is a lightweight IP-based controller designed for integration into Cue System environments, providing centralized control of AV and building technologies. It supports CUEnet2 communication and is fully compatible with CUE touch panels, operating as a standalone device or part of a distributed system.

The device includes a **10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface** (RJ-45) with **PoE (IEEE 802.3af) **support for system communication and power delivery. It features **3 bi-directional RS-232/RS-485 ports**, **6 versatile ports** configurable as digital or analog inputs and outputs, and **6 low-voltage relay outputs** for switching circuits. An **integrated IR sensor** allows infrared code capture.

Powered via PoE or an external 24 V DC source, the unit consumes approximately 3 W. Internal resources include an **ARM® processor**, onboard real-time clock with battery backup, and support for XPL2 scripting. LED indicators display power, network link, CPU activity, and port status. The system is programmable via Cue Visual Composer and managed through an embedded web server (Admin Web) for configuration and monitoring.

The enclosure is a compact aluminium housing suitable for **desktop placement or 19” rack installation** (¼ rack width, 1U height) with dimensions **105 × 43.5 × 92 mm**.
