The cloud system provides two **independent **features that can be used at the same time.

- **XPL commands to transfer data and commands** between units remotely over the cloud
  - The system provides the transfer of data and commands between units through the remote [my.cuesystem.com](http://my.cuesystem.com) cloud.
  - The communicating units can be located either in the same or in different projects.
  - All communication is encrypted.
- **Application update** (CVCA file) from the cloud
  - The CVC project determines which units are to download the application from the cloud.
  - Simplified management of version releases
  - All communication is encrypted.
