For devices that are only to communicate with the cloud without downloading the application from Cloud (CVCA file) set the Magic Name, and the CVC will do all that is needed.

For devices that should download the app from the cloud, you need to set both the Magic name and set the AL mode to Cloud.

If any device in the project uses cloud-based XPL<sup>2</sup> commands, then CVC automatically creates the *.CVCCLOUD file. This file is generated when performing Final in CVC. Information about generation of the *.CVCCLOUD file is visible in Upload & Export Application window. The *.CVCCLOUD file contains *.CVCA applications for devices that are to download their application from cloud and also contains all necessary information for units that are to use the cloud just for communication.
