DIN rail controllers and smartCUE-versatile-d require solid mechanical support to ensure that they remain in place and function correctly. They’re not designed to be mounted directly to a wall or to a panel of an electrical enclosure but they’re mounted by using a DIN rail.

A DIN rail is a metal rail of a standard type widely used for mounting circuit breakers and industrial control equipment inside equipment racks.

The controllers can be slid onto the support rail from the side or clipped in the front and latched.
