# Description

The reservation system (RS) enables (with firmware 8.00 or higher) the integration of the RS panels with the control system. It enables you to show the control system keypad on RS panels and use this keypad for control system commanding. The reservation system will also transmit information about the current state of the room (free/occupied etc.) to the control system. This makes it possible to perform various automated commands with the control system, e.g. room temperature control depending on whether the room is free or occupied.

> ⚠️ **One RS panel can only communicate with one instance of the applet ReservationSystemControlIntegration**. If you have multiple instances of an applet and these instances are trying to communicate with one particular RS panel, only the applet that starts the communication first will work.

> ⚠️ We recommend using a **maximum of 5 instances of the applet** in one CUEunit.

This document describes how to use applet ControlIntegration in the Controller/touchpanel and all necessary settings of reservation system panels, which communicate with the controller.

# Control system requirements

- You need at least one controller or control system touch panel.
- The controller or touch panel must have firmware 8.00 or newer.
- It is recommended to use the unit with a wired connection to LAN.

# Network infrastructure requirements

For the correct operation of the RS unit and control system it is necessary to ensure the following:

- The controller (or control system touchpanel) has to be connected to the same LAN as the reservation system panels.
- An open TCP port 53128 and UDP port 33333 within the local network for communication between RS panels and the control system. Communication between panels is encrypted using AES-256.

# Settings

In order to set the Control Integration, it is necessary to:

1. Add applet ReservationSystemControlIntegration to IDE resources and use this applet in the selected controller/touchpanel.
2. Setup the applet Properties and use applet API in your program.
3. Run program with this applet in the control system.
4. Configure the reservation system panels.
