The reservation system makes it possible to connect sensors identifying the presence of people in the room and display this information on the panel. This applet from version 1.11 can handle information from up to 150 sensors. The first 8 of them can be set using properties, the rest can be set using the corresponding API commands.

# How to use

1. Open control system project in IDE.
2. Insert the applet ReservationSystemOccupancySensorIntegration into the project resources.
3. The instance of this applet must be created in the controller or touchpanel. Either insert into the project a new controller/ touchpanel or a select existing one, where the applet will run.
4. Create instance of the ReservationSystemOccupancySensorIntegration applet in selected controller / touchpanel. One instance of the applet enable communication with up to eight occupancy sensors with one reservation system. **Only one instance of this applet can be used in one controller or touchpanel.** If you need to use more then 8 sensors, create next instance of applet in another controller / touchpanel.
5. Fill the sensor names and select, if given sensor is used or not in the item “Enabled” in the applet properties.
6. Connect occupancy sensors to the controller and use appropriate drivers for this sensors. This applet enables to work with sensors using various technologies. Run command SetIsOccupied in your program each time the sensors detect change in the room occupancy. Then upload your program to the control system and start it.

## Settings using Essential Setup

1. In the RS panel setting screen „Room occupancy indication“ set the option „Occupancy indication from „None“ to “Red and green stripes“ or “Orange area“. Up to 4 sensors can be used in each room. Choose the occupancy sensors used in the given room in the items “Sensor 1-4”. Sensors are identified with controller magic name and with name of the sensor set in the applet properties. If sensors are not installed in some rooms, select „None“ for all sensors in given rooms. You can use refresh button to find controllers with occupancy sensors on your network. If the drop-down list box does not offer any sensor, it means that there is no controller with running the applet ReservationSystemOccupancySensorIntegration, or there is not enabled any sensor.
2. Occupancy indication is displayed as either “Red and green stripe” or “Orange area”. In case of the option “Red and green stripe” the presence of people in the room is indicated by vertical red stripe on the left side of the panel. The absence of people is indicated by a green stripe.
If “Orange area” option is selected, then in case the room is reserved in the calendar, but no people are present in the room, the main screen turns orange instead of red.

## Settings using touchONE-manager On-premises administration

In this method, the setup is similar to the previous method.

1. The method of occupancy indication is described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TOA/pages/234193420), see the option "**Room occupancy indication**".
2. The sensor assignment is described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TOA/pages/234193635), see part “**Occupancy Sensors**”.

## Settings using CUE Admin

When administering using CUE Admin, you need to build a list of sensors and then assign them to individual sources.

1. The method of occupancy indication is described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/161841167), see the option "**Occupancy indication**".
2. To create a list of sensors, follow the procedure described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/160399361). You need to manually enter the Magic Name of the controllers where the integration applet is implemented, because the CUE Server may not be on the same LAN as the controllers and cannot see them. The controllers must be on the same network as the touchONE panels that will use the sensor status.
3. Finally, specific sensors need to be assigned to individual rooms ("resources"). This is described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/162889753).
