- In the tab General you can edit the device credentials - if needed.

- Set there the driver version  to 1.00.

- To proceed with capturing select the tab IR data.

- Press "New" and select "RAW"

- Enter the name for the button on remoter you are now about to capture - for example Volume Up and press "Capture".

- Enter the IP address of your capturing controller and press "StartCapture".

- Now is the time to press shortly the button on the remoter

When the button on the remoter pressed shortly, then the shape of just captured IR signal would appear.

> 📝 - Using the mouse wheel you can zoom and explore the signal
> 📝 - There is also possibility to pick up only part of the IR code or shorten the code in case of need.
> 📝 - Note that some IR codes are carrying information only at the beginning of the IR code.
> 📝 - Some others are repeating the information all the time while the button is pressed and there are also codes which are sending information when button is released.
> 📝 - And combinations of any of 3 before mentioned possibilities are also used.
> 📝 - Thus it is always best practice to capture the remoter button fully: "from press to release"!
> 📝 - Now you can test your data using the Test button.
> 📝 - You will be asked to fill-in the IP address of the controller you are about to use for testing.
> 📝 - Note - this may not be the same controller that was used for capturing!
> 📝 - Select the appropriate port to which the tested device IR adapter is connected and press the IR Send button.
> 📝 - The reaction on the real device can be checked.
> 📝 - Press "Close" to finish Testing and finish the code capturing by "OK"

- Repeat the action by presing "New" and capture next buttons.

- For this press "New Source Code" and confirm.

- If all the required IR data are prepared then it is time to create driver commands for all IR codes just captured.
