If not specified then the default recording folder of selected Remote Recorder will be used | | Debug | | Enable | Boolean | False | Enable/Disable DebugPrints | Example: ![image-20251107-123235.png](media://5d4b1ec6-a945-4b1b-9ea7-836189044397) # Panpopto Configuration ## Panopto acount -User with the Admin role -Available to Enterprise plans. -Panopto v5.5.0 or later ## Panopto Server URL -Panopto site URL without https:// - For example, [organization.hosted.panopto.com](http://organization.hosted.panopto.com) or [organization.cloud.panopto.eu](http://organization.cloud.panopto.eu). This can vary based on your region, or if your organization uses a custom URL. ## **Create New API Client ** **Note That all data values (Names, IDs , Strings…etc.) on pictures bellow were created for demonstration purposes only** - open your Panopto site URL in WebBrowser - login with Admin accout - in Menu select System - select the API Clients - select New to create new API Clinet - Fill in new “Client Name” and select Client Type “User Based Server Application“ - confirm by “Create API Client” - new ClientID and Client Secret strings copy and save for next use in CVC driver properties (Note that Client Secret will not be available later! - Only the new ClientSecret can be generated! Secret values are not displayed later. If you have forgotten or lost your secret value, please generate a new one.) - Confirm and use the ClientID and Client Secret strings in CVC project in Panopto driver properties. ## **Selecting Remote Recorder ** - RemoteRecorder Name must be specified in CVC driver property if the recordings are to be controlled using this driver. - To find RemoteRecorder Name open the System in Panopto page - Select in RemoteRecorder list the selected recorder and open its Configuration - there in item “Name “is the Recorder Name which is to be used in CVC driver property Remte Recorder Name (“Name” listed in Configuration of selected Panopto Remote Recorder - need not be identical with the “Machine Name”!) ## **Selecting Folder For Recordings ** - CVC driver property Recording Folder ID can be used. - If not specified then the default recording folder of selected Remote Recorder will be used - If specific folder is to be used then first create such folder - to find the ID of the Folder which is to be used in properties, please open the selected folder and select “Settings“ - Select “Manage“ - The FolderID can be found there - when using the Folder ID in CVC driver property / then recording rceated by using this CVC project will be by default stored in this folder --- # Example Application Following application is based on this driver. Fill in the properties as noted in the previous parts of this document. Use your own valid Panopto credentials.
