# Connection

Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver communicate with Tecomat PLC via Ethernet using UDP protocol.

# Registration

For activation Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver you need to purchase registration key. Registration is bound to the hardware product serial number of CUE unit, where Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver is connected, e.g. CS0388.000045. To register Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver please

1. Send the order for Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver to your sales partner. Use the appropriate product code CS0464.
2. You will receive delivery note with serial number for Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver (CS0464.xxxxxx). Send serial number of your hardware product (where Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver is connected) and serial number for Tecomat PLC EPSNET Device Driver CS0464 (from delivery note) to [register@cuesystem.com](mailto:register@cuesystem.com).
3. You will get back LicenseKey file. The name of this file has the following format: *Tecomat_PLC_EPSNET_CS0464.xxxxxx_LicenseKey_yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss.txt*
4. Copy this file to file storage of the CUE unit, where Tecomat PLC EPSNET device driver runs. Do not change the name and content of this file.

> 📝 Note:   
> 📝 Without registration Tecomat_PLC_EPSNET runs for 1 hour in simulation / debugging mode and then stops.

## Copying files to filestorage using Admin Web

Your computer must be connected to the same LAN as the CUE unit where you want to copy the file.

- Open web browser and enter IP address of CUE unit to the address line, for example 192.168.1.127. Enter password for access if you are prompted for it.
- Click to item “File storage” in the left column on the web page.

- Click to the button “Browse”, select required file in your computer and click to “Upload”.
- Wait until file is uploaded and appears in the list.

## Copying files to filestorage using Cue Visual Composer

Your computer must be connected to the same LAN as the CUE unit where you want to copy the file.

- Open your project in Cue Visual Composer

- Click in the window MyProject Instances to CUE unit where you want to copy the file.

- Double click to Filestorage in the bottom part of the window MyProject Instances. It will open new Filestorage tab in the main working area.

- Right click in this Filestorage tab and select Import/ASCII File...

- Browse for required file in your computer. The file will appear in the list then.

- Check the checkbox “Upload with Application”.

- Upload the application to CUE unit by Final button. The file is uploaded together with the application.
