# Overview

This document describes all devices of Tecomat PLC communication library and their properties and functions.

Using all devices is simple and efficient. The devices can be simply inserted to Cue Visual Composer software and all objects can be drag and drop to your project. Every instance of the object is customized using object properties.

Devices are created using standard Cue Visual Composer software and XPL2 programming language.

# Document structure

All devices are sorted like in Tecomat documentation. This makes it easy to search for specific information. If you study the document for the first time, we recommend the following sequence:

# Devices categories

All devices can be divided into two categories - Tecomat PLC UDP client for EPSNET and Tecomat PLC variables.

#### Tecomat_PLC_EPSNET

This device is main resource for communicating with Tecomat PLC. Other devices are connected to this main device.

#### Tecomat PLC Variables

Devices for reading, writing and capturing events for each type of variable. Devices are as follows

- Tecomat_BOOL
- Tecomat_SINT
- Tecomat_INT
- Tecomat_DINT
- Tecomat_USINT
- Tecomat_UINT
- Tecomat_UDINT
- Tecomat_REAL
- Tecomat_LREAL
- Tecomat_TIME
- Tecomat_DATE
- Tecomat_TIME_OF_DAY
- Tecomat_DATE_AND_TIME
- Tecomat_STRING
- Tecomat_BYTE
- Tecomat_WORD
- Tecomat_DWORD

Those variables types are all variables types used in Mosaic IDE.

# Requirements

- Software Cue Visual Composer 5.50 or higher
- CUE unit (controller, touch panel, mobile runtime) with one free UdpClient channel.
- The Mosaic (development environment is used to create and fine debug programs intended for Tecomat®)
