# Properties

The **Address** of the device, from 2 to 30, defaults to 2. 

# IsClosed

This function returns true if the input is closed and false otherwise. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function IsClosed() As Boolean
```

#### Return value 

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) It is true if the input is closed, false otherwise. 

# OnClose

This event is generated when input is closed. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Event OnClose As Process()
```

# WaitWhileClosed

This function waits while input is closed and the specified time has not expired. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function WaitWhileClosed(Optional timeout As Time := _TIME_INFINITE) As Boolean
```

#### Parameters 

timeout 

[<u>Time</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Time) Optional, defaults to _TIME_INFINITE. It is time to wait while the input is closed. 

#### Return value 

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) It is true if the timeout was not expired when the input was opened. It is false if the timeout expired and the input is still closed.
