# Properties

- **Address** of the device, from 2 to 30, defaults to 2.
- **AddressIR** of the device's ir receiver, from 2 to 30, defaults to 2.

- **IRReceiverActive** is a flag of the device ir receiver's functions. Defaults to false. If it is true, the receiver's functions IsPressed and WaitWhilePressed are workable. If it is false, IsPressed and WaitWhilePressed are out of service.

**If property IRReceiverActive is true, then property Address and AddressIR must be set to a different value.** 

# SetBackLightBrightness

The function sets a new brightness of the label backlight. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function SetBackLightBrightness(newbrightness As Double)
```

#### Parameters 

newbrightness 

[<u>Double</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Double) It is the new backlight brightness. The value is from 0.0 to 100.0. 

# SetLEDBrightness

The function sets a new brightness for all button LEDs. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function SetLEDBrightness(newbrightness As Double)
```

#### Parameters 

newbrightness 

[<u>Double</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Double) It is the new brightness. The value is from 0.0 to 100.0. 

# IsPressed

This function returns true if the input is pressed and false otherwise. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function IsPressed() As Boolean
```

#### Return value 

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) It is true if the input is pressed, false otherwise. 

# LEDBlink400msec

This function starts by blinking of button LED indicator on a control panel. The blink period is 0.4 sec. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDBlink400msec()
```

# LEDBlink800msec

This function starts by blinking of button LED indicator on a control panel. The blink period is 0.8 sec. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDBlink800msec()
```

# LEDBlink1600msec

This function starts by blinking of button LED indicator on a control panel. The blink period is 1.6 sec. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDBlink1600msec()
```

# LEDGroup

This function adds a button to a mutually exclusive group. That means only one indicator is active in the whole group. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDGroup(buttongroup As Byte)
```

#### Parameters 

buttongroup 

[<u>Byte</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Byte) It is the number of the group. 

# LEDOff

The function lights off a LED. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDOff()
```

# LEDOn

The function lights on a LED. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDOn()
```

# LEDUngroup

This command removes the button from all groups. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function LEDUngroup()
```

# OnPush

This event is generated when a button is pushed. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Event OnPush As Process()
```

# WaitWhilePressed

This function waits while input is pressed and the specified time has not expired. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function WaitWhilePressed(Optional timeout As Time := _TIME_INFINITE) As Boolean
```

#### Parameters 

timeout 

[<u>Time</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Time) Optional, defaults to _TIME_INFINITE. It is time to wait while the input is pressed. 

#### Return value 

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) It is true if the timeout was not expired when the input was released. It is false if the timeout expired and the input was still pressed. 

# IsPressed

This ir receiver's function returns true if a remote control's button is pressed, false otherwise. To make this function work, a property <u>IRReceiverActive</u> must be set to true. 

#### Syntax

Function IsPressed(buttoncode As Long) As Boolean
```

#### Parameters 

buttoncode 

[<u>Long</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Long) It is the button code to get a status. 

#### Return value 

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) It is true if the input is pressed, false otherwise. 

# OnPush

This event is generated when a button with a buttoncode is pushed. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Event OnPush As Process(buttoncode As Long)
```

#### Parameters 

buttoncode 

[<u>Long</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Long) It is the button code of the button to be pushed. 

# WaitWhilePressed

This ir receiver's function waits while a remote control's button is pressed and the specified time has not expired. To make this function work, a property <u>IRReceiverActive</u> must be set to true. 

#### Syntax 

```visualbasic
Function WaitWhilePressed(buttoncode As Long, Optional timeout As Time := _TIME_INFINITE) As Boolean
```
