# Description

KNX Group Object DPT10 is defined for transmitting the time of the day (e.g., cyclically by a system clock).

# WriteTime

This function transmits the KNX telegram, including data converted from parameters day and newtime to the group address defined in the driver property. This function returns True if the function success, else it returns False. A function GetLastError returns the error number that occurred while executing the command. #### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function WriteTime (
  day As Byte,
  newtime As Time,
  Optional highpriority As Boolean := False) 
As Boolean
```

#### Parameters

day

Byte It is the number of day in a week sent to KNX bus in range 0 ÷ 7, where:

1 = Monday

…

7 = Sunday

0 = no day

newtime

Time It is the new value sent to the KNX bus in range (0:0.0) ÷ (23:59:59.999999).

highpriority

Boolean Optional, defaults to False. If False, the command is applied with standard priority on the KNX bus. If it is True, the command is applied with a high priority on the KNX bus.

#### Return value

Boolean This function returns True on success or False if an error occurs. A function GetLastError returns the error number.

# GetTime

This function returns the last value of the group object with the given address received from the KNX bus in Time format.

#### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function GetTime(
  ByRef day As Byte,
  ByRef newtime As Time)
```

#### Parameters

day

Byte This ByRef parameter is set to the last received number of day in the week of group object in range 0 ÷ 7, where:

1 = Monday

…

7 = Sunday

0 = no day

newtime

Time This ByRef parameter is set to the last received time of the group object in range (0:0.0) ÷ (23:59:59.999999).

# OnUpdate

This event is raised when receiving the KNX telegram with the appropriate group address. It returns all data received from the KNX telegram.

#### Syntax

Event OnUpdate As Process(day As Byte, newtime As Time)
```

#### Parameters

day

Byte It is the new number of day in a week received from KNX bus in range 0 ÷ 7, where:

1 = Monday

7 = Sunday

0 = no day

newtime

Time It is the new value received from KNX bus in range (0:0.0) ÷ (23:59:59.999999)
