# Description

KNX Group Object DPT11 is defined for transmitting the date of the day (e.g., cyclically by a system clock). The day of the week is not transmitted.

If Year ≥ 90: interpret as 20th century

If Year < 90: interpret as 21st century

Example:

- Year = 90 equals 1990
- Year = 99 equals 1999
- Year = 0 equals 2000
- Year = 14 equals 2014
- Year = 89 equals 2089

# WriteTime

This function transmits the KNX telegram, including data converted from parameter newtime to the group address defined in the driver property. This function returns True if the function success, else it returns False. A function GetLastError returns the error number that occurred while executing the command. #### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function WriteTime (
  newtime As Time,
  Optional highpriority As Boolean := False) 
As Boolean
```

#### Parameters

newtime

Time It is the new value sent to KNX bus in range

#01/01/1990 00:00:00.0# ÷ #12/31/2089 23:59:59.9#. Only the date part of the Time data type is used.

highpriority

Boolean Optional, defaults to False. If False, the command is applied with standard priority on the KNX bus. If it is True, the command is applied with a high priority on the KNX bus.

#### Return value

Boolean This function returns True on success or False if an error occurs. A function GetLastError returns the error number.

# GetTime

This function returns the last value of the group object with the given address received from the KNX bus in Time format.

#### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function GetTime() As Time
```

#### Return value

Time It is the last received value of the group object. Value is in the range

#01/01/1990 00:00:00.0# ÷ #12/31/2089 00:00:00.0#.

# OnUpdate

This event is raised when receiving the KNX telegram with the appropriate group address. It returns the Time value from the KNX telegram.

#### Syntax

Event OnUpdate As Process (newtime As Time)
```

#### Parameters

newtime

Time It is the new value received from KNX bus in the range   
#01/01/1990 00:00:00.0# ÷ #12/31/2089 00:00:00.0#. Only the date part of the Time data type is used.
