# SetLevel

This command sends a command to set the level to percent level as in the parameter

#### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function SendLevel(percent As Boolean) As Boolean
```

#### Parameters

percent

[<u>Byte</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Byte) 0-100 value of new level in percent

#### Example

```visualbasic
EnOcean_Device1.SetLevel(33) // set level output to 33%
```

#### Return value

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) **True** if telegram was successfully sent. Otherwise **False.**

# SendTeachTelegram4BSVariation1

This command sends the Teach telegram using 4BS, Variation1 Teach-in process – This teach telegram can be accepted by an externEnOceanean device set to Learn mode. This command can be used with receiving EnOcean Devices compliant with current EEP and Teach-in process 4BS Variation1.

#### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function SendTeachTelegram4BSVariation1() As Boolean
```

#### Example

```visualbasic
EnOcean_Device1.SendTeachTelegam4BSVariation1() // sends teach telegram with current device ID
```

#### Return value

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) **True** if telegram was successfully sent. Otherwise **False.**

# SendTeachTelegramUTE

This command sends the Teach telegram using a bidirectional or unidirectional UTE Teach-in process – (UTE = Universal Teach-in EnOcean). It can be used only with EnOcean Devices compliant with the UTE Teach-in process.

#### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function SendTeachTelegramUTE() As Boolean
```

#### Example

```visualbasic
EnOcean_Device1.SendTeachTelegamUTE() // UTE teach with current device ID
```

#### Return value

[<u>Boolean</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Boolean) **True** if confirmation from the teacher device was received. Otherwise **False.**

# LevelQuery

<u>It can be used only with devices supporting bidirectional EnOcean communication!</u> This command sends a request for feedback with information about the device current output level. The feedback will be sent from the device, which was learned to be telegrams from this device object instance. Note that it should be used mainly in an application where this object controls just one device - otherwise, multiple En Ocean devices would send their feedbacks simultaneously.

#### Syntax

```visualbasic
Function LevelQuery(
  ByRef id As Long,
  ByRef level As Byte)
As Byte
```

#### Parameters

id

[<u>Long</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Long)  ByRef parameter -in this parameter, the ID of the responding device will be stored

level

[<u>Byte</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Byte)   ByRef parameter -in this parameter, the level value of the responding device will be stored.

#### Example

```visualbasic
EnOcean_Device1.LevelQuery(dimmerId,dimmerLevel) // read dimmer
```

#### Return value

[<u>Byte</u>](/wiki/spaces/CVCHELP/pages/495058958/Data+types#Byte)   value 0-100: output level value of responding device, value 255: failure or no response

# EnOcean EEP D2-01-03 Transmitter Plugin

This plugin allows you to Teach-in or Test the telegrams transmitted by this device. The actual ID is based on the actual BaseID of the channel and IDoffset, which is the device property in the CVC project. All the actual values are displayed on the plugin page:

4BS Var1 Teach

sends Teach-in telegram. It is using EnOcean 4BS Variation1 Teach-in.

UTE

starts UTE Teach-in sequence.

Up, Down

testing button – sends telegram with set level Up or Down

Level xx%

testing button – sends telegram with set level to a specific value

Get Actual Level

Testing button – sends telegram requesting feedback telegram from bidirectional EnOcean external device. Note that the external EnOcean device must be learned to accept commands from the ID of this object instance prior to this testing! If feedback telegram was received, then it is indicated.
