# Locations

### Application

CVC application (executable file) is placed by installation into the following location:

- **C:\Program Files\CUE\CUE Visual Composer**

### Application data

Application Data are distributed and installed with the application. They are placed in the following location:

- **C:\Program Files\CUE\CUE Visual Composer\Data**

Application data contains the following parts

- Animations - contains animations distributed with CVC
- Applets - contains applets distributed with CVC
- Collections – contain graphic collections distributed with CVC
- CUEdevices – contains drivers for CUEdevices (keyboards, sensors, receivers, dimmers, etc.)
- CUEunits - contains definition files of CUEunits
- Devices – contains drivers for controlled devices
- Documents – contains documents distributed with CVC
- Firmwares – contains firmware for CUEunits, which can be uploaded to devices
- Fonts - contains fonts distributed with CVC
- Modules - contains modules distributed with CVC
- Pictures - contains pictures distributed with CVC
- Plugins - contains plugins distributed with CVC
- Sounds – contains a sound library in the English language, which is distributed with CVC
- Templates – contains project templates
- WebPages - contains web pages distributed with CVC

### User data

Installation of CVC creates the folder structure for user data in the following place:

- **C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\CUE Visual Composer**

User data contains the following preprepared folders

- Projects – a place for user projects
- User Applets – a place for applets created by user
- User Collections – a place for graphic collections created by user
- User Devices – a place for device drivers created by the user
- User Modules – a place for modules created by the user
- User Templates - a place for project templates created by the user
- User Windows - a place for window layouts created by the user
