The Configuration defines the connection of CUEunits and devices used in the project. Graphically it is a block diagram. The connection of CUEunits throw Ethernet is not displayed, but the connection of IP-controlled devices must be done.

Configuration can use more pages, for example, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, etc.

# Insert CUEunit or Device

Simply drag and drop the unit from MyProject Resources/CUEunits window to the Configuration window.

# Create connection

Click the control port of the device you want to connect to the CUEunit port. Hold down the left mouse button and move to the control port of the control unit to which you want to connect the controlled device. Then release the left button and the device is connected.

> ⚠️ Make sure you connect the controlled device to the correct type of control port. An incorrect connection will be reported as an error during the project Build.

# Connection Dialog

If you right-click on a CUEunit in the Configuration window, you can see in context menu item **Show Connection Dialog**. This is a well-arranged overview of all channels sorted by channel type (serial, IP, etc.).

By **drag and drop,** you can connect the device to the CUEunit channel or you can preview the current connection.
