CVC project needs data that is not XPL<sup>2</sup> source code. Such data is referred to as project resources and they can include data that your application requires. 

Resources are managed using the explorer window. Through this explorer, you can work with resources (libraries) available to your projects. All categories of project resources are quickly accessible by the toolbar.

There are the following categories of project resources:

> ℹ️ **Resources editing**  
> ℹ️ For more productive work during application programming now all resources are directly editable from the property list. For editing, it is not necessary to use the Common section.  
> ℹ️ The same way and dialog are used to set Text, Picture, Font, Animation, and Sound properties
