## Reinstall Kibana as a NSSM service

In the past versions, Kibana analytics platform wasn’t very good at functioning as a standalone Windows service (not displaying its status clearly, and having problems with automatic launching). From the CUE Solution version 11.11.3 we are using NSSM ([www.nssm.cc](http://www.nssm.cc)) for Kibana to display correctly and be interactible in the Windows Services as a regular service. 

New installations of 11.11.3 automatically install the NSSM Kibana service, only updating from an older version requires some modification.

### Steps for installing NSSM before or after the CUE Solution

1. Install CUE Solution Setup 10.27.4 and run it elevated as an administrator.
2. Select any CUE Solution instance and click “Modify selected installation”.

3. Select “Reinstall Kibana as NSSM Service”.

4. Now accept the pop-up message.
  

5. Wait for the success message, close all the windows, and restart your server.

6. After the server restarts, you should see Kibana displayed correctly in the services.msc program.

7. You are done!
