> ℹ️ If you are using a much older version of the CUE Solution Setup (formerly Cue Control Panel), it is possible that the online search for a new version will not offer you the current version. In that case, download the new version of the CUE Solution Setup installer from the [support site](https://support.cuesystem.com/) and update it manually.

## Enable internet connection for online updates

Enable an internet connection for the server to the sites listed [here ](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Dep/pages/151519256)so that all necessary upgrades can be made. After a successful installation, you can disable access again if your security policy requires it.

## New URL for online updates

Now the online update files are downloaded from the new URL **downloads.cuesystem.com**. If you use online updates and have internet access limited to a specific URL, add the new **downloads.cuesystem.com** URL to your whitelist.

Leave the old **resources.cuesystem.com** download URL in place for now, both can be used during the transition period. We will inform you about the discontinuation of the **resources.cuesystem.com**.

## Prerequisites for CUE calendar server

CUE Solution since version 10 includes an calendar server. There are a few things to prepare for it:

### Admin rights for Windows Server and MS SQL Express

To upgrade, the logged-in admin user must have administrative rights to Windows Server and **MS SQL Express**. Just because an administrator has admin rights on Windows Server does not mean that he also has admin rights on MS SQL Express. See [this chapter](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Dep/pages/1097072641) for details.

### The URL for the calendar server

Create a DNS record for the calendar server domain that is needed for the new functionality and redirect them to the server. For details, see [Domains and DNS records](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Dep/pages/151224364).

- Create domain for <span style="color: #0747a6">***cuecalendar***</span><span style="color: #0747a6">*.yourdomain.topdomain*</span>. For details see [this chapter](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Dep/pages/151978000).
- Create SSL certificates for this new domain. For technical reasons, the server must perceive these certificates as completely valid and trusted. See [SSL certificates](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Dep/pages/151322658).

###
Account on the external database server, if used

If you are using an external MS SQL database, you need to prepare an account for the calendar database on the database server. See [here ](/wiki/spaces/Dep/pages/152043547/External+database+server+settings+optional#Creating-a-DB-user-for-touchONE-calendar-server-access-to-the-MS-SQL-server)for details.

## Disabling mailflow for the Exchange Onprem API account

> ℹ️ This section applies only to users of the **Exchange Onprem** calendar server

Previously, until touchONE-solution 9, the **mailflow for a service account** used in** Connection Agent for API operations** needed to be set up as follows [Settings for API operations](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MESSG/pages/667451549).

Since version 10 it is no longer necessary to have **maiflow **set up, it is enough to have a dedicated service account with full access to all resources you will manage. So you can disable the previously required **maiflow**.

## Firmware for CUE Solution units

In order to reduce the size of the CUEPAC installation package, in the new version we have removed the firmware for CUE Solution units that were taking up the most space in the package.

Now only the firmware of actual used units is downloaded to the CUE Solution, not the firmware of all manufactured units.

The required firmware is downloaded online from **downloads.cuesystem.com** website. If the CUE Solution server does not have internet access, the firmware can be downloaded from **[support.cuesystem.com](https://support.cuesystem.com/)** and uploaded to the server manually.
