When converting touchONE system from EWS to MS Graph App it is necessary to:

1. **Register App for Microsoft Graph in Microsoft 365 Azure Active Directory admin center**  
Microsoft Graph is a Microsoft developer platform that connects services and devices. It permits to integration touchONE services with Microsoft 365 and Azure. App for Microsoft Graph allows access to Microsoft Graph and must be registered in Azure AD. Registering your app establishes a unique application ID and other values that your app uses to authenticate with Azure AD and get tokens. Depending on how the system is managed, choose the appropriate authentication as described here: [Microsoft 365 Setup Guide - Authentication methods](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/284820143/Authentication+methods). The registration procedure is described in detail in the [Microsoft 365 Setup Guide - Registered app creating](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/255950885/Registered+app+creating). 2. **Allow access to external websites**  
If access to external Web sites is limited in your environment, you must allow access to the following websites:  
- [https://login.microsoftonline.com](https://login.microsoftonline.com)  
- [https://graph.microsoft.com](https://graph.microsoft.com)  
The services necessary to use Microsoft Graph are available at these addresses.
3. **Upgrade firmware to version 20 or newer**  
<span style="color: #ff5630">**Firmware must be upgraded to version 20 or later in all reservation system units before conversion.**</span> The procedure is described in the following guides.

4. **Convert from EWS to Microsoft Graph App**  
During this conversion, the unique Microsoft Graph ID and Client Secret are added to the service accounts. A wizard is ready for this conversion. The steps for Essential Setup and On-premises Administration are described in the following chapters.
