# Description

The CUE Server basic features are as follows:

- On-premise server dedicated for CUE only
- Windows Server 2016 / 2019 operating system installed with **Desktop experience** feature
- IIS Server
- Database for data storage – MS SQL express or connectivity to MS SQL Server
- Setup and statistics data stored
- Back-end application data handling
- Communication with calendar servers
- Local domains and SSL certificates for CUE Solution Units and front-end applications
- DNS records for domains described above
- Communication API for CUE Solution Units setup
- Communication API for front-end applications
- Includes front-end applications CUE Admin and CUE Assist
- Completely installed using Cue Control Panel
