# Description

The Wireless Module M is an expansion accessory for touchONE and touchCUE multisurface panels. It allows **Wi-Fi communication** as a replacement for wired Ethernet connection and the use of **NFC technology** in the reservation as well as in the control applications. This module is not compatible with built-in touch panels.

If wireless communication is used, the panel must be powered by PoE as when using wired Ethernet. However, it does not need to be connected to a PoE switch, but a local PoE adapter is sufficient. This can save Ethernet infrastructure costs in many cases.

To set up NFC functions in the reservation applications, it is necessary to use the touchONE-admin management system. Functions for using NFC in the control applications are available as part of the Cue Visual Composer programming tool.
