# System Default setup

# Installation options

The touchCUE-7-W can be installed in the following ways:

<details>
<summary>On-wall installation</summary>

#### Directly on-wall installation

The unit is installed on the wall using a mounting adapter included in the package. The adapter is fixed directly to the electrical box with screws. Installation is possible even without an electrical installation box.

#### Angled On-wall installation

In some cases, it is convenient to install the panels on the wall so that the display is angled 15° to the wall. This mounting adapter 7 can be used for:

Drywall - it is fixed with screws.

Glass - it is fixed with adhesive strips and masking film.

When installing on a glass wall, it is recommended to install the panel close to the wall frame so that the cable passes from the panel directly into the frame and is completely hidden.

> ℹ️ Mounting Adapter 7 need to be ordered separately.

> # Installation
>
> The panel can be easily installed on the wall using the mounting adapter with adhesive foil or with screws. Cable bushings are prepared for network cable installation from the top, side, and rear.
>
> Installation **using black adhesive foil** is typically used for glass walls. The supplied adhesive foil is applied to the wall, and the touch panel is then attached using adhesive tape on the rear side of the mounting adapter.
>
> > ℹ️ During the installation process, a minimum technological waiting period of 24 hours is required.

>
> Installation **using screws** can be used for wooden walls, and furniture as well as for holders compatible with EU wall boxes or Swiss wall boxes. There are four holes on the back of the mounting adapter for each variant.

> > ℹ️ - When installing through** side bushings**, use **flexible flat cables** with a **maximum cross‑section 8x2 mm. **
> > ℹ️ - When installing **directly through the centre hole**, you can use **flexible flat **or** round cables** with a **maximum diameter of 5 mm**.
> > ℹ️
> > ℹ️ **Cables of higher categories have too large a diameter, a large allowable bend radius, and are not flexible enough for easy panel installation.**
>
> ### Panel orientation
>
> Always orient the panel on the wall so that the **sensors are on the right for landscape** mode or on the **bottom for portrait** mode, as shown in the following pictures.

> ### Installation template
>
> To prepare the installation, an installation template is available at a scale of 1 : 1.
>
>
>
> With this template, you can directly mark the drilling locations on the wall. Download the PDF and print it on A4 paper in landscape mode at 100% scale. After printing, check the dimensions according to the marked dimensions.
