--- title: "signCUE-three Quick Start" canonical: "https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/QS/2250768385/signCUE-three%20Quick%20Start" format: markdown --- # Mechanical description > Macro (excerpt-include) # Power Supply and LAN Connection Rear panel description The complete connection of the signCUE-three unit is shown in the following image. ![signCUE-three_connection_PWR_v2.png](media://1961332f-1e44-404b-a310-ba67e8f4d0fe) For a correct and complete connection of the unit, proceed as follows: - Connect the unit to a **data network** equipped with an **Ethernet cable.** - Connect a large screen display with a resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) or 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) using an **HDMI** video cable. - If the display is equipped with a touch sensor and you will use interactive functions in your application, connect the output of the touch sensor to the unit using a **USB **cable. - Connect the delivered power supply adapter to the PWR connector. # System Default Setup When the System Default button is pressed for longer than 5 sec., the system default function is performed, and the setup is as follows - IP address: from DHCP (192.168.1.128 without DHCP) - IP Mask: from DHCP (255.255.255.0 without DHCP) - Password: Empty (no input required) # Installation > ℹ️ **A free space of at least 3 cm** must be left around the unit to enable free air-flow to **cool it**. The unit is equipped with four cut-outs in the mounting brackets.
