# Initial Network Setup

1. We recommend using a router in Share Hotspot mode. Mode is set by the switch on the side of the router in the middle position. In this mode, the router connects to an external Wi-Fi network, uses it as a WAN, and creates a wired and wireless LAN behind the router. For details, refer to the original router manual.
2. Connect the power cable to the power supply 100 ÷ 240 VAC.
3. Wait about a minute for all devices to boot.
4. Connect demonstration PC to demoCUE-two LAN using an ethernet cable or using Wi-Fi. The router is in the default state and the data for Wi-Fi access is on the enclosed card.
5. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address of the router 192.168.0.1.
6. Login to router administration web. The default username is ”admin” and the password is “admin“.
7. In the left menu select “Wireless 2.4 GHz“ or “Wireless 5 GHz”, depending on what Wi-Fi network you are going to connect to.
8. In the “Client settings” part of the page tap the “Scan” button. A page opens with a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Choose your network and click “connect”.
9. Enter the wireless password in the appropriate text box and click on the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
10. In the “AP settings” section you can change SSID (Wireless Network Name) of Wi-Fi network created by the router.
11. Now the demoCUE-two is prepared for the demonstration.

> 📝 Note 1: The router also allows you to connect USB 3G / 4G / LTE modems and use a mobile network to connect to the Internet. Contact your local TP-link support to find out if your router is compatible with USB modems and data provider SIM cards in your area. For details, refer to the original router manual. For connection via mobile networks we prefer using a modem that creates your own Wifi network or a mobile phone with mobile connection sharing (tethering mode).

> 📝 Note 2: The default IP segment of the router’s LAN network is 192.168.0.X. If the external Wi-Fi network uses the same segment, you will need to change the segment to a non-conflicting segment in the LAN router settings, eg. 192.168.10.X. For details, refer to the original router manual.
