This simplified procedure is for those who only want to manage reservation units touchONE with CUE Solution

## Prerequisites

- Installed CUE Solution [On-Premise](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Dep) or [SaaS](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TOSSAASD)
- Allowed network access and connection described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TOSSAASD/pages/1062174722)

## Setup your calendar server

- Create a registered application according to the procedure for "Configuration for Common app / Device Code Flow". Follow instructions [here](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/255950885/Registered+app+creating).
- Use [this description](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/255918215/Service+accounts+description) to consider whether one service account will be sufficient for your installation, or whether you will need more.
- Create a service account(s) according to [this procedure](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/204669121/Service+account+creating).
- Create resource accounts for rooms according to [this procedure](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/211288071/Resource+account+creating).
- We highly recommend setting up resource accounts using the Power Shell described [here](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/M3SG/816152852/Recommended+settings+for+resource+accounts).

## Setup your CUE Solution

### Registration

- If you have not previously completed the registration procedure, please register your CUE Solution as described [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/16810034).

### Connection agents

- Create Connection agent for [import resources and users](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/243040257).
  - For Microsoft 365, use data for registered application for Common app. Then [activate](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/475201559) the connection agent and test it.
- Create Connection agent for [units](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/243171329).
  - For Microsoft 365, use data for registered application for Common app. Then [activate](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/475201559) the connection agent and test it.
- Create Connection agent for [API operations](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/243105793).
  - For Microsoft 365, use data for registered application for Common app. Then [activate](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/475201559) the connection agent and test it.
- [Synchronize](/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/18579457/Connection+agents#Forced-synchronization-of-resource-and-user-list) the list of accounts between the calendar server and CUE Solution.
  

### Import resources

- From the calendar server, import the room/resource accounts where the touchONE panels will be installed. Details can be found [here](/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/562757633/List+of+resources#New-resource).
  - In the General tab, set the **Resource type** to **Room**.
  - Set the **Connection agent for API operations** in the appropriate field.
  - Set the **Connection agent for Units** in the appropriate field.
  - [Test](/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/562757633/List+of+resources#Test-resources) resource account

### Create units

- In the **Units** list you can [add units](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/469860430) (touchONE reservation panels and touchONE-overview) to the reservation suite and manage them.
  - For each unit select unique **Magic name**.
  - In **Product model** field select [model of your touchONE panel](https://www.cuesystem.com/reserve/reservation-panels/).
  - In **Layout** field select your prefered [layout](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TOLDG/pages/276758529).
  - For each unit, select which resource/room account it is assigned to.

### Join units to the CUE Solution

- After you have correctly set up the resource accounts and created the list of touchONE units, you can connect these units to the CUE Solution. Follow the description [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/162463849).
