Properties are used to provide additional information about resources. These are user-defined attributes (e.g., available equipment, credit card payment option, phone number, etc.). These properties can then be used in CUE Assist and CUE Navigation applications, for example when filtering resources that best match your requirements, in room details, or during reservations.

> ℹ️ Each resource can have **multiple** properties.

## Where property settings take effect

### In CUE Assist

When creating a new reservation, the user can filter resources based on specific requirements.

**Usage Examples**

- Filtering meeting rooms based on required equipment (projector, video conferencing, flipchart, etc.).
- Filtering parking spaces based on width or type (standard, accessible, electric).
- Displaying detailed resource information in the timeline or floor plan.

**How it works**

- Properties marked as “Filterable” are displayed in the filter section when creating a reservation.
- Properties marked as “Visible” are displayed in the resource details (Location detail).
- The user can combine multiple properties to more precisely select a suitable resource.

### In CUE Navigation

The user can search for resources based on specific requirements.

**Usage Examples**

- Searching for a medical office by the doctor’s name or phone number.
- Searching for a store that accepts card payments.
- Searching for a meeting room based on specific equipment.

**How it works**

- Properties can be searchable by name.
- Properties can be searchable by the values they can take.
- Properties are displayed in the resource details when the resource is selected as the start or target location.

**Usage Examples**

- Equipment description: “Epson EB-2250U projector”
- Phone number: "+420 123 456 789"
- Note: “Access only with special permission”

**Where it takes effect**

- Flexible text information
- Searching using text strings

### Array

List of multiple values (items)

**Usage Examples**

- Available equipment: ["Projector", "Whiteboard", "Video conferencing", "Flipchart"]
- Table types: ["Conference table", "Meeting table", "U-shape"]

**Where it takes effect**

- The user can filter by one or more values from the list.
- In the grid, an expandable detail (+/–) is displayed to show all items.
- The default value displays the selected item from the list.

**How it works**

- Each item in the array can have its own name and image.

- The specific value is set directly on the resource in the *Properties* tab, in the *Resource value* column.

**How it works**

- If the default value is changed, it is applied to all resources that currently use the default value.

- In the overview, the default value is displayed as follows for different data types:
  - *Boolean*: Checkbox (checked/unchecked)
  - *Number/Decimal*: Numeric value or “Not set”
  - *String/HTML content*: Text value or “Not set”

- In addition, the checkbox in the column header allows all properties on the current page to be selected or deselected at once.
- Changes must be saved using the :save: button.

**Where it takes effect**

- When searching in CUE Navigation.
- The user can enter the property value as a search criterion.
