Statistical data on events is collected in one of two ways - Unit and API. If a unit is assigned a **resource** that does **not** have the **API connection agent set**, data is collected by the **unit**, otherwise by the **API**.

## Data collection using unit

After the event, the panel sends summary information about the event to the api. It will also send statistical data from the connected sensors if the unit has sensors set up (for all-day/multi-day events at the end of each day).

## Data collection using CUE Backend

API regularly loads events for **±15 minutes from the current time**.

You can find the status events synchronization in *CUE Admin - Dashboard -> Background tasks status → Events synchronization*. For more information on dashboard see [https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/469237765](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/469237765) 

You can set how often events are loaded (default is every 5 minutes) in *Connection agents → Synchronization settings → Event synchronization → Synchronization time period in minutes*.
