The **General** tab provides access to the basic settings and information for the resource, as described below.

#### Server type

Shows the server where the resource account is stored. The possible values are:

- Microsoft 365
- Exchange & AD
- Google
- CUE Calendar
- NONE - for manually created resources that are not connected to a calendar (such as non-reservable resources in CUE Navigation)

#### Resource type

Shows the [resource type](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/18579483) assigned to the resource.

#### Origin connection agent

The origin connection agent identifies the calendar server connection used to import this resource. For manually created resources, no origin connection agent is set.

#### Connection agent for API operation

This connection agent serves for confirmations, statistics, and sending support emails.

#### Connection agent for units

Shows the connection agent (combination of server and delegate account) that touchONE units use to communicate with the resource account’s calendars. For detailed instructions on adding connection agents, see [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/18579457/Connection+agents#Add-new-connection-agent). This field is required if the resource is connected to the unit.

#### Synchronize capacity from calendar server

Select this checkbox if the value should be synchronized from the calendar server. When selected, it cannot be edited manually.

#### Capacity

Shows the capacity of the resource, such as the number of seats.

#### Username

The username is the unique identifier of the resource account used for communication with the calendar server. For Microsoft 365, use the resource account e-mail address. For Exchange, use the resource User Principal Name (UPN). The value must be unique.  
For manually created resources, this field is required. If the resource is imported from an origin connection agent, the value is taken from the calendar server and cannot be edited manually. Check the username carefully, because an incorrect value can prevent calendar synchronization and resource operations.

#### Email

Shows the email of the resource.

#### Display name

Here you can see the resource display name, primarily imported from Active Directory. This name is displayed in the reservation application, on the room panel, or printed on the desk interface label.

#### Display name for units

An alternative display name can be added to override the default display name shown on the panel. If no alternative display name is defined, the default display name is used.

#### Display name for application

An alternative display name can be added to override the default display name shown in the applications (CUE Assist, CUE Navigation and Addin). If left empty, the default display name is used.

#### Tags

If tags are assigned to the resource, they can be used to search for the resource in CUE Navigation. Entering a tag in the search field returns the corresponding resource.

#### Synchronize description from calendar server

Select this checkbox if the description should be synchronized from the calendar server. When selected, it cannot be edited manually.

#### Description searchable in navigation

If checked, the descripition can be used to search for the resource in CUE Navigation. Entering all or part of the description in the search field returns the corresponding resource.

#### Description

This column displays the description of the resource account. 

#### GUID

Shows the unique resource identifier in Active Directory. This value is read-only.

#### Last updated from calendar server

Shows the date and time of the last update from the calendar server.

> ℹ️ If the **NONE** server type is selected for the resource, fields related to calendar servers are not available
