Frontend applications can be customised to your preferences and aligned with your corporate branding, allowing you to define not only the overall appearance of the app itself but also the colour schemes for different resource states or their visualisation on the map.

> ℹ️ In the CUE Solution, colours can also be set for

## Background

Colors are used to visually differentiate resources by their type and current status across the CUE Assist (Timeline, Floor plans) and CUE Navigation environments. This color coding enables quick identification of whether resources are available, reserved, limited, or designated solely for navigation purposes.

### Area

- Areas (that represent zones such as buildings or floors) will be displayed in the selected color.
- Clicking on an area takes you to the next level, e.g., clicking on a floor opens its floor plan.

> ℹ️ Areas cannot be reserved and are used solely for navigation.

### Non-reservable resource

Resources that cannot be reserved but may provide information or serve navigation purposes, such as pharmacies, stores, reception desks, etc.

- **Without working hours**
  - Resources that do not have defined working hours will be displayed in the selected color.

- **Opened**
  - Resources that are open (currently within their working hours) will be displayed in the selected color.
- **Closed**
  - Resources that are closed (currently outside their working hours) will be displayed in the selected color.

### Reservable resource

Resources that can be reserved, such as meeting rooms, workplaces, parking spaces, etc. Resources will be displayed in the selected color according to their current status.

- **Free**
  - The resource is fully available for reservations.
- **Reserved**
  - The resource is already reserved by someone else, it cannot be booked for the ongoing reservation period.
- **Tentative**
  - The resource status cannot be determined at this moment (e.g., the calendar server has not yet responded).
- **Closed**
  - The resource is closed (outside its working hours).
- **Free (Closed)**
  - The resource is closed, but it can be reserved for periods outside its working hours.
- **Limited**
  - Shows all time slots that lie in the past from the resource's perspective.

### Border

Border colors are used to differentiate the ownership or assignment of a resource in the timeline:

- **Assigned to you**
  - The borders of the resource that is assigned directly to you (only you are authorized to make reservations as an event organizer) will be displayed in the selected color.
- **Assigned to other**
  - The borders of the resource that is assigned to another user or user group will be displayed in the selected color.

### On hover

Highlights the resource with the selected color when the cursor hovers over it in the CUE Assist timeline.

### Set default colors

Clicking the :sercolor: button resets the color scheme for displaying resource statuses to its default setting.

## CUE Assist

By default, the **Custom** checkbox is unchecked, and the default color scheme is applied in CUE Assist. Once the checkbox is checked, a panel for customizing the colors of individual UI elements will appear.

> ℹ️ An already configured color scheme can be reset to the default setting by checking the **Custom** checkbox again. When the checkbox is unchecked afterwards, the system will remember the last configured color scheme.

- **Menu background**
  - Determines the background color of the application's main sidebar.
- **Primary**
  - Used for main action elements in the user interface, such as buttons, active tabs, etc. It is also applied as a color accent in various interactive or highlight elements (scrollbars, tabs, action icons). For secondary action elements, it is applied inversely, serving as text or outline.
- **Secondary**
  - Appears when hovering over specific UI elements. (e.g., the *NEW RESERVATION* button).
- **Primary text**
  - Used for main headings, key labels, reservation names, and displayed names. This color is applied to important text that needs to be easily readable and visually prominent within the standard interface.
- **Secondary text**
- **Info**
- **Warning**
  - Appears on the label displayed next to the resource in the *Home* or *New Reservations* view after the reservation has been created. This label indicates that the reservation has not been confirmed yet or requires confirmation.

- **Success**
  - Used to indicate positive statuses, such as the *Accepted* label after a reservation has been successfully made. It helps users quickly recognize that the process was completed smoothly.
- **Error**
  - Used to highlight statuses that require user attention, such as confirming a reservation or indicating the end of a reservation period. This color is displayed in system messages, warning labels, or time-related data.

> ℹ️ Each individual color category can be reset to the default setting by clicking the crossed-out drop icon (*Clear value*) in the respective color palette.

### Set default colors

Another way to reset the default color scheme of CUE Assist is by clicking the :sercolor: button.
