**Tags in the CUE system serve two different purposes depending on their type: **

- Tags of type POI / QR codes and Resources are used to enhance searchability in CUE Navigation – for example, if a point of interest is named *x-ray* but the user enters *rtg*, the result appears thanks to the assigned tag.
- Tags of type Units are used exclusively for filtering devices (panels, controllers, etc.) in the CUE Admin. They do not affect navigation search.

## Purpose of tags

- Improve and extend search capabilities in navigation (*POI and Resources only*)
- Help filter devices in the Admin interface (*Units*)
- Support multilingual search – each tag can be localized into CS, EN, DE, AR
- Enable categorization and unification of synonyms

## Tag types

Each tag can be assigned to one or more of the following types:

- Resources
- POIs / QR codes
- Units

> ℹ️ If a tag is created directly from an entity detail, the system will automatically assign the tag type based on the context.

## Tags management

This is the central place for managing all tags.

### Displays

- A list of all created tags
- The types assigned to each tag
- The number of times each tag is used (i.e., assigned to entities)

### **Management options**

- Create a new tag – button + NEW
- Filter by name / type / usage
- Edit – rename, add/remove types, adjust language localizations
- Export to Excel – overview of all tags

## **Creating a tag**

- Click + NEW
- Enter the name in the default language, then add translations (CS, EN, DE, AR)
- Select the tag type(s): Resources / POIs / Units
- (Optional) Switch to the Resources / Units / POIs tabs and assign the tag directly
- Click SAVE

## Assigning from an entity detail

- In the detail of a POI, Resource, or Unit, you’ll find the Tags field:
- Start typing the tag name – if it already exists, select it from the list
- If it does not exist, click NEW to create it directly from the input
- The tag type will be automatically set based on the current context
