This connection agent is used in CUE Assist and Outlook add-in CUE Addin to communicate with external calendar servers and for user login and authentication. It can also be used to log in CUE Admin users if Microsoft 365 or Google identity authentication is required.

No service account is required for this connection agent because users log in with their own account.

touchONE applications can communicate with the following servers:

- Microsoft 365 (Office 365) using Microsoft Graph
- Exchange server using EWS (Exchange Web Services)
- Google Workspace using Google Calendar API, Google People API and Contacts API

For details, expand the procedures for the given server types below:

<details>
<summary>Microsoft 365</summary>

Connection agent for CUE Assist in Microsoft 365 needs an application registered in Azure AD. The procedure for creating an application is described here: <u>[Registered app creating](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/M3SG/pages/255950885)</u>

Use the procedure **Configuration For apps**.

**OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Flow** is used for authentication. For details see: [Authorization Code Flow](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/M3SG/pages/450789377)

Users can usually approve these permissions directly when they first log in to CUE Assist. However, it is possible that your security policy does not allow for user approval of permissions and you may need to require consent granted by the administrator.
