## Navigation settings

These settings are used to set a standalone navigation application. The user can navigate to all licensed QR codes that have their location defined in the Areas section. CUE Navigation can be accessed anonymously - users do not need to log in to use the application.

When CUE Navigation is enabled, the data listed below can be accessed anonymously without logging in, depending on each resource’s permission settings:

- Area information
- Area floorplans
- Resources info
- Resources photos
- QR code locations

## General settings tab

The *General* tab is used to enable the navigation and configure it centrally. Here, the administrator defines its global behavior and availability for users.

At the top, a colored indicator shows the status of CUE Navigation (active/inactive), along with a link to the current application URL. The status depends on whether the **Enable CUE Navigation** checkbox is selected.

#### Enable CUE Navigation

This option enables or disables the CUE Navigation application for the given environment. When selected, it allows users to access standalone navigation on a separate domain.

#### Enable step navigation

This option enables detailed step-by-step route guidance.

#### After scanning the QR code, force redirection to the CUE Navigation application

This option determines whether the user is automatically redirected to CUE Navigation after scanning a QR code.

#### Date format

Allows you to set a custom date display format in the navigation. If empty, the format is taken from the user’s locale.

#### Time format

Allows you to set a custom time display format in the navigation. If empty, the format is taken from the user’s locale.

## Deployment tab

The *Deployment* tab serves as a support tool for the physical deployment of navigation in a space. It allows all navigation points to be displayed in a modified mode via a special URL that does not affect the standard user settings.

In this mode, even hidden points may be visible, including QR code numbers, which makes orientation during installation easier. This allows staff to walk through the building, correctly place QR codes, and minimize the risk of errors during navigation deployment.

#### Enable

This option enables or disables deployment mode.

#### Id

Specifies a unique deployment identifier.

#### :generate: Generate button

Creates a new deployment ID and updates the deployment navigation link, rendering the previous link inactive.

#### Show POI in map

This setting determines how POIs are displayed on the map in deployment mode, i.e., what should be visible for each POI. It applies when navigation is opened with a specific deploymentId.

| **Option in Show POI in map dropdown** | **What the user will see** |
| --- | --- |
| *According to POI settings* | Visibility is taken from each POI’s own configuration. |
| *No* | POIs are hidden on the map. |
| *Category icon and name* | Category icon and POI name are shown. |
| *Name only* | Only the POI name is shown. |
| *Code only* | Only the POI name is shown. |
| *Category icon and code* | Category icon and POI code are shown. |
| *Code and name* | Both POI code and name are shown. |

#### Show POIs with purpose

This setting determines which POIs are shown on the map in Deployment mode based on their purpose. You can select one or more values. Only POIs that match the selected purposes are displayed. If the selection is clear or if you clear the selection by clicking the cross icon on the right side of the drop-down, purpose-based filtering is not applied. The list of available purposes is configurable and may vary between environments.

| **Option in Show POIs with purpose dropdown** | **What the user will see** |
| --- | --- |
| *No purpose* | General POI without a specific purpose (not assigned to any resource, news, kiosk, or unit) are shown. |
| *Resource* | Only POIs with Resource purpose are shown. |
| *News* | Only POIs with News purpose are shown. |
| *Kiosk* | Only POIs with Kiosk purpose are shown. |
| *Unit* | Only POIs with Resource purpose are shown. |
| *Monitor&Control object* | Only POIs with Monitor&Control object purpose are shown. |

> ℹ️ *Show POI in map* and *Show POIs with purpose* work together. The first option defines the display mode (how POIs should be rendered, or whether they are rendered at all), while the second option defines the allowed POI purpose set. In Deployment mode, a POI is shown only if it passes both settings at the same time, so restrictive values in either option can result in no POIs being displayed (see the screenshots below).

This option determines whether resources are shown on the map in Deployment mode. When disabled, resources are hidden.

#### Show monitor&control objects in map

This option determines whether monitor&control objects are shown in Deployment mode. When disabled, these objects are hidden.

#### Show also not navigation points
