### General

This section is used to configure the general functions of CUE Assist.

#### Connection agent

This field specifies the connection agent used by CUE Assist to communicate with the calendar server and access its resources and reservations. Only connection agents of the CA for apps type are available for selection.

> ℹ️ If the connection agent is changed to one with a different server type, the list of available resources is updated accordingly to include only resources associated with that server type.

#### Enable find a colleague

When selected, the [Find a colleague](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/assist/pages/2832826374/Using+CUE+Assist#Find-a-colleague) feature is enabled in CUE Assist. The *Find a colleague* feature is then available in the Reservation section of CUE Assist accessible from the side menu.

#### Offer users from CUE Admin in CUE Assist

When enabled, users created manually in CUE Admin are also available for selection as attendees in CUE Assist. Users imported from the calendar server are available for selection regardless of this setting.

These users are available for selection in the *Required attendees* section when creating a new reservation.

#### Enable group finding

When enabled, user groups created on the calendar server can be searched for in the *Required attendees* section when creating a reservation in CUE Assist.

This does not apply to user groups created directly in *User management* in CUE Admin.

> ℹ️ The *Group.Read.All* permission is required for the application to which the CUE Assist communication agent is connected.

#### Allow guests (not-imported users) to use CUE Assist

When enabled, users who have not been imported into CUE Admin can still sign in to CUE Assist. Their account is verified against the connected calendar server during sign-in, and access is granted if a corresponding account is found. External visitors, for example, can also be included in reservations.

> ℹ️ This feature is not supported when using CUE Calendar.

#### Enable reservation system

When selected, the reservation functionality is enabled in CUE Assist, allowing users to create, edit, and cancel reservations.

The configuration on the Resources tab must also be taken into account, as this feature applies only to those selected there. All available resources can be included, or only specific ones can be selected as required.

#### Enable orders

By selecting this option, the ordering system in CUE Assist is enabled.

**Where it takes effect:**

- Activates functionality that allows services or equipment to be ordered for rooms reserved for events.

#### Enable Navigation support for CUE Assist

Selecting this option enables navigation support within CUE Assist.

**Where it takes effect:**

- The navigation feature in CUE Assist is activated.
- Users can use navigation to reach reserved resources.

#### Show link to navigation app on login page

By selecting this option, a link to the navigation application is displayed.

**Where it takes effect:**

- A direct link to the navigation application is displayed on the CUE Assist login page.
- It simplifies access to navigation features.

#### Visibility of restricted resources

By selecting this value, you define the visibility of restricted resources for users who do not have permission for the resource, for example when the resource is assigned to another user or a user group.

**Available Selection Options:**

- *Show all resources*** **– All resources are visible to all users
- *Hide restricted resources in new reservation* – Resources with restricted access are hidden from users without the appropriate permissions

**Where it takes effect:**

- When selecting resources in CUE Assist.
- It affects which resources the user can see.

**How it works:**

- It allows restricting the visibility of certain resources for different user groups.
- Useful for managing access to VIP rooms or special resources.

#### Date format (EEEE dd.MM.yy)

Here you can define a custom date display format in CUE Assist.

**Where it takes effect:**

- Controls the display format of all dates within the CUE Assist application.
- Formatting in reservations and the calendar.

> ℹ️ Use the Angular Date Pipe. If no value is specified, the format is determined by the user’s locale. For more informations see [here](https://v17.angular.io/api/common/DatePipe).

#### Time format (HH:mm)

Here you can define a custom time display format in CUE Assist.

**Where it takes effect:**

- Controls the display format of all times within the CUE Assist application.
- Time formatting in reservations.

> ℹ️ Use the Angular Date Pipe. If no value is specified, the format is determined by the user’s locale. For more informations see [here](https://v17.angular.io/api/common/DatePipe).

#### Default

Here you can set the default reservation duration. The minimum value is 15 minutes, with increments of 15 minutes.

**Where it takes effect:**

- When creating a new reservation, this duration is automatically pre-filled.
- The user can modify this value when creating a specific reservation.

#### Fill available

When this option is selected, the reservation is automatically prefilled with all available time within the selected time slot.

**Where it takes effect:**

- When creating a reservation in CUE Assist.
- Automatically extends the reservation to cover the entire available time period.

**How it works:**

- If this option is enabled, the system ignores the default duration and uses the entire available time within the selected time slot.

## Reservation

In this section, you can configure the parameters of the created reservation.

#### Remind event

Here you can configure when the system should remind the user of an upcoming reservation.

**Available Selection Options:**

- *Do not remind*
- *At time of event*
- *A certain time before* (select from the available options)

**Where it takes effect:**

- The user receives a notification/reminder at the specified time before the reservation starts.

#### Reservations default Attendee state filter

Here you can define which reservation statuses are displayed by default in the overview of all reservations.

**Available Selection Options:**

- *Accepted*
- *Tentative*
- *Rejected*
- *Confirmed*
- *Released*
- *Confirmation needed*
- *Unconfirmed*
- *Confirm now*
- *Release for non-confirmation failed*

**Where it takes effect:**

- In the overview of all reservations in CUE Assist.
- Displayed reservations can be filtered by status.

**How it works:**

- This filter setting is the default for the user.
- If the user configures a custom filter in CUE Assist, their personal settings will take precedence and this default setting will no longer apply.
- This applies only to users who do not customize the filter settings in CUE Assist according to their own preferences.

#### Show also canceled reservations

By selecting this option, cancelled reservations will also be displayed in the overview.

**Where it takes effect:**

- In the overview of all reservations.
- It allows viewing the full history, including canceled reservations.

#### Default title

Here you can define a custom template for the reservation subject (title).

**Default entry:**

- *Reservation in* {resource-display-name} *from* {start-date} {start-time} *to* {end-date} {end-time}.

**Where it takes effect:**

- In the title of the created reservation
- In email invitations
- In users’ calendars

#### Default description

Here you can define a custom template for the reservation description.

**Default entry:**

- *Hello, here is an invitation to the meeting in* {resource-display-name} *from* {start-date} {start-time} *to* {end-date} {end-time}.

**Where it takes effect:**

- In the body of the email invitation
- In the reservation detail

For both the **Default Title** and **Default Description**, you can use the following available placeholders:

- *{resource-capacity}*
- *{attendees-count}*
- *{resource-url}*
- *{resource-display-name}*
- *{start-date}*
- *{start-time}*
- *{end-date}*
- *{end-time}*

> ℹ️ Both the **Default Title** and **Default Description** can be overridden by the settings defined in CUE Admin in Resources → Types.

#### Pre-select online meetings when available

Here you can configure which types of online meetings are automatically preselected when creating a reservation (if the relevant integration is available).

**Available Selection Options:**

- *Cisco Webex* – available for all types of connection agents.
- *Microsoft Teams* – automatically available for Office 365–type connection agents.
- *Google Meet* – automatically available for Google-type connection agents.

**Where it takes effect:**

- When creating a new reservation, a link to the online meeting is automatically added.
- The user does not need to manually enable the online meeting feature.

**How it works:**

- The relevant options are automatically enabled or disabled based on the type of selected connection agent.
- Microsoft Teams integration is available only for Office 365 agents.
- Google Meet integration is available only for Google agents.
- Cisco Webex can be used universally.
