> ℹ️ The settings in this section can have a significant impact on users. Modify them carefully and, whenever possible, test changes on a single resource before applying them more broadly.

#### Show event in user’s calendar as

This setting determines how the reservation affects the user’s availability in their calendar. *Busy* marks the user as unavailable for the duration of the reservation, while *Free* displays the reservation without blocking the user’s availability. In both cases, the reservation is shown in the calendar; only the user’s availability status differs.

### QR codes

This section displays all QR codes assigned to the resource. The QR code will be generated automatically if the resource has an API connection agent set and no QR code is assigned.

This section also allows you to create additional QR codes for the resource. To create a new QR code, enter its name and click the :PLUS: button.

For more information on QR codes see [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/469205011).

### Reservations

This section contains settings related to resource reservation such as the minimum and maximum reservation duration, recurring reservation options, and other reservation-related settings. Read-only fields are displayed only for resources imported from CUE Calendar. For instructions on modifying these values, see [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/1323466756).

The :reset: button restores the default duration to its original setting if it has been changed manually.

### Event confirmation

This section contains settings related to event confirmation, including the confirmation method and confirmation timing, as well as warning email notifications for unconfirmed events.

### Emails

This section contains settings for automatic event email notifications. You can configure email reminders to be sent before the event and/or before the event ends, including the delivery time and recipients.

### Unoccupied resource management

This section contains settings for managing unoccupied resources. If a reserved resource remains unoccupied after the event starts, the system can send a warning and automatically end the reservation after a specified period, making the resource available for new reservations. This feature requires the resource to be equipped with a panel that supports occupancy detection.

### Panel unit behavior

This section contains settings that control which actions users can perform directly on the panel unit. For example, users can be allowed to create private events or make the resource unavailable in search. These settings apply only to resources equipped with a panel unit.

> ℹ️ This chapter provides an overview of the settings available on the *Settings* tab. For detailed information about the individual settings and recommendations for configuring resources, see [here](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TAM/pages/2756378635).
