You can edit an area by clicking on it.

General

In this section, you can edit the general parameters of the selected area.

#### Parent area

Here you can edit the parent area of the selected area, i.e. where the given area is located. 

#### Name

Here you can edit the name of the new area.

#### Relative areas

Here you can edit related areas. This will create a connection between resources in the related areas. You can use this to make e.g. a connection between an office building and a parking lot.

#### Resources

In this table, you can edit the assignement of selected resources to the given area by ticking the checkmarks in the first column. The selected resource will then be displayed in the touchONE-assist if it also has a connection agent for API and a license assigned.

 

> ℹ️ **After you have completed editing, save the data by clicking the SAVE button **  
> ℹ️ **at the top-right corner of the view!**

 

# Floorplan

In this section, you can assign a floorplan in SVG image format to the selected area or replace the existing floorplan with another one. Select an image by clicking the **SELECT FILES…** button. The image will then appear below. On the left you will see the name, the size and the date and time of upload of the image.

> ℹ️ **The file must be formatted according to the following rules**

Save the floorplan by clicking the **SAVE **button at the top-right corner of the view or remove it by clicking the **REMOVE IMAGE **button.


# Editor
