> ℹ️ The settings that must be made on the calendar server are described in the [Microsoft Exchange Server Setup Guide](https://docs.cuesystem.com/space/MESSG).

## Server settings

- If you selected "Exchange On-premises" as the server type when you created the reservation suite, the server settings page opens first.
- Press "+" and enter the **Exchange Server address** in one of the following ways:
  - Public IP address if the server is accessible at this address (e.g. "123.45.67.89")
  - Internal IP address in the LAN network (e.g."192.168.1.2.)
  - Local name of the server (e.g. "mail.contoso.local")
  - Global name of the server if there is a DNS record for it (e.g. "[exchange.contoso.com](http://exchange.contoso.com)").
- In the "**Communication timeout**" item, enter the maximum time to wait for the server response. If the server does not respond by this time, it is evaluated as a communication error.
- If a proxy server is required to access your exchange server, select "Yes" in the item "**Use proxy server**".
- You can test the connection with the server by pressing "**Test**".
- Continue by tapping "Next".

## Service account settings

- Enter the service account name and password on the next screen "**Service account settings**".
- Keyboard will appear when you tap "**+**" so that you can enter a service account (e.g. "touchone"). It is also possible that the service account will need to be entered in the domain/account format (e.g. "contoso/touchone"), depending on the Exchange server and AD settings.
- Now enter the service account **password **and you can test the service account by means of the "**Test**" button.
- Continue by tapping "**Next**".

## Room settings

- The last thing to do is the room account setting on the next page "**Room settings**".
- Press "+" in the "**Room email**" command line and enter the email of the room account (e.g. ["demoroom@contoso.local").](mailto:demoroom@contoso.local) The email has to be entered in the same format in which it was shown in the item User Logon Name / User Principal Name during the creating of the account, i.e. do not use the public email address (e.g. "[demoroom@contoso.com"](mailto:demoroom@contoso.com)), if this public address is not identical with the User Principal Name.
- In the field "**Displayed room name**" you can enter the room name in the format in which it will be shown on the touchONE panel.
- In the items "**Server**" and "**Service account**" there are pre-filled server address and the service account which you have set in the previous steps.
- You can test the room account by tapping "**Test**".
- In the item "**Area**" you can use the "+" button to create a list of areas (e.g. "First floor", "Second floor") and then assign the room to one of them. This enables users to filter search results when looking for a free room, as they can limit the search only to certain areas.
- You can use the "**OK**" button to save the configuration and start working with the touchONE panel. For further information please see the chapter [Detailed panel settings](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TES/pages/234195003).
