The following steps are required to use the script **touchone.ps1**:

1. Create a working temporary folder for the script, e.g. **C:\Temp**.
2. **Download firmware files** and** PowerShell Script** into your computer from the website [https://support.cuesystem.com](https://support.cuesystem.com). **Firmware files** are in the section *Downloads / CUE Solution / Firmwares* and **PowerShell Script** is in section *Downloads / CUE Reserve / PowerShell script*. The downloaded files are the ZIP type and includes firmware for all touchONE units.
3. Unzip the firmware files into your working temporary folder. Firmware files have the extension CVCF.
4. Unzip and copy the content of **PowerShell script zip file** to your working directory. The power shell script file itself is called **touchone_v1.ps1.**
5. Copy your certificates to the working folder.
6. **Create CSV file** with the list of units or certificates. The creation of a CSV file is described below.
7. **Run PowerShell console**. For Windows 10, the quickest way to launch it is to press the Win + X keys on your keyboard, but you can also do it with right-click on the Windows logo from the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Here you find shortcuts for starting PowerShell. Administrator rights are not required to run this script.
8. In the console, navigate to your temporary working folder using the **cd** command, e.g. **cd C:\Temp**.
9. **Execute the touchone_v1.ps1** script with the required parameters in PowerShell. A description of the script parameters and application examples are given below.

> 📝 If you use this script to initially upload 802.1X certificates, you need to ensure that the configured units are temporarily connected to the network. You can do this, for example, by temporarily excepting the MAC addresses of the units being set up, or by temporarily disabling 802.1X on the LAN ports to which the units are connected.
