This chapter covers the authorizations used in the CUE Solution environment and managed by CUE Admin.

# CUE Admin

CUE Admin users can log in two ways.

### Basic authentication with local account

This is the default authentication method for CUE Admin users. Local account is created only in touchONE-admin.

### OAuth 2.0 authentication with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace account

This authentication is available for CUE Solution version 9.8.2 and newer. [OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Flow](https://cue.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/M3SG/pages/450789377) is used for this authorization.

The login security level for a given account is set directly in the Microsoft 365 environment. Here you can set whether MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is required, for example.

> ℹ️ To log in to CUE Admin, you can choose to use **basic authentication**, **OAuth 2.0 authentication** in with a Microsoft365 / Google Workspace account, or **both**.
